Providing lecturers/ instructors and Heads of Sections/ Departments to different colleges in the Sultanate of Oman, we are seeking applicants for the following positions for this academic year, to start immediately, with the option of renewal for the following years:

English Language Teachers/ Instructors

• Teaching English to college students
• Preparing and conducting exam papers and quizzes
• Assessing students
• Maintaining students' records
• Presenting reports on students' progress

Qualification

• Native English Speakers from the US, Canada, Britain, Ireland, Scotland, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, or any other country considered to have Native English language.
• University degree BA/ MA/ PhD in Applied Linguistics/ TEFL/ TESOL, English, Education or relevant specializations. Other specializations with relevant teaching experience will also be considered.
• English teaching certificate such as TEFL, TESOL, CELTA, etc.

English Language teaching experience:

• 2-4 years with BA or MA, or 2 years with PhD, teaching English Language to college level or adult students.
• Experience in multi-media teaching, assessment, course design and testing would be an asset.

Compensation and Benefits:

• We offer monthly compensation packages as follows:
• Salary: OMR 885 to OMR 1000 depending on his/her degree and teaching experience, approximately equivalent to US$2292 to 2590.
• Furnished accommodation or housing allowance, value of OMR 250 to OMR 350 depending on the college location, approximately equivalent to US$650 to 900.
• Transportation allowance up to OMR 100, approximately equivalent to US$259.
• Dependents’ Allowance up to OMR 120, approximately equivalent to US$310.

• End of contract bonus and gratuity pay depending on the date of commencement of the contract.
